The South Armagh Genealogy Project (SAGP) is funded by the South Armagh Tourism Initiative (SATI) through the Natural Resource Rural Tourism Initiative, Rural Development Programme and EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation. The Project is being delivered by Armagh City and District Council.
This project will be seen as an important asset for those researching their family tree in the South Armagh area.

Genealogy is the study and tracing of family pedigrees. This involves collecting the names of relatives, both living and deceased, and establishing the relationships between them based on primary, secondary and/or circumstantial evidence or documentation, thus building up a cohesive family tree.
